Heartsaver® Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
The American Heart Association Heartsaver® Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for work, regulatory, or other requirements, or for those who simply want to be prepared to respond in an emergency.
This course teaches participants the skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. Students will learn how to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) until professional help arrives.
Course Content Includes:

First aid basics (scene safety, calling for help, recognizing medical emergencies)

Medical emergencies (breathing problems, choking, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, seizures, and shock)

Injury emergencies (bleeding control, wounds, burns, broken bones, sprains, and bites/stings)

Environmental emergencies (temperature-related injuries, poison exposure)

Adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use

Relief of choking for adults, children, and infants
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course and skills testing, participants receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED eCard, valid for two years.
