American Red Cross – Basic Life Support (BLS)
The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed for healthcare providers, public safety professionals, and others in the medical field who need to know how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies.
This course builds the foundation for professional-level CPR and emergency cardiovascular care, focusing on high-quality chest compressions, effective ventilation, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and team-based resuscitation. Participants will learn both single-rescuer and multi-rescuer CPR skills for adults, children, and infants, as well as how to manage airway and breathing emergencies.
